About the Foundation

Role of the Foundation:

The role of the Kirkland and District Hospital Foundation is to raise money to support capital projects and to purchase equipment for the Kirkland and District Hospital.

Health funding from the government excludes the purchase of equipment and only pays a portion of capital projects to improve facilities. Funding for equipment and capital projects must be raised in the community.

The Kirkland and District Hospital Foundation is a registered charitable organization charged with the responsibility of supporting these improvements through the generosity of its community.

Foundation Mission Statement:

“To enhance patient care for the Kirkland and District Hospital through the provision of new equipment and improved facilities.”
