care, including: physicians, nurses, technicians, therapists and other health professionals.
Furthermore, when it comes to collecting and using your personal health information,
we take measures to ensure the privacy and confidentiality of the information is
protected.
KDH
KDH is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information under
the custody or control of KDH in accordance with Ontario’s Health Information Protection
Act, public expectations for privacy and internationally accepted fair information
principles. The Health Information Protection Act, comprised of both the Personal
Health Information Protection Act and the Quality of Care Information Protection
Act, comes into force November 1, 2004.
