MEDICAL/SURGICAL UNIT

The med/surg/pediatric unit is part of the 4th floor. We generally operate at an 88% occupancy rate. All patients admitted are carefully assessed and diagnosed by the medical staff. Many have a full range of nursing care and recovery on 4 East. Patients requiring further investigation or treatment are transferred to larger centres via air ambulance.
