DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING

This very active department provides a wide variety of routine and specialized diagnostic examinations in radiography, ultrasound, mammography, echocardiography, carotid and peripheral vascular imaging, and bone mineral densitometry.

Bone mineral densitometry uses low dose radiation to assess bone mass and determine fracture risk. This information assists physicians to diagnose & plan the appropriate treatment according to risk factor.

We are an Ontario Breast Screening Site.

Our facility is a clinical placement for radiography students from Cambrian College in Sudbury .
